Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 31755
Excel XML Import: No mandatory columns will be created, if not in Excel present
Last modified: 2004-12-09 15:02:48 UTC
In Office the column elements are mandatory in OpenOffice and optional in Excel. <!ELEMENT table:table (table:table-source?, table:scenario?, office:forms?, table:shapes?, (%table-column-groups;), (%table-row-groups;))> <!ENTITY % table-column-groups "((%table-columns;),(%table-header-columns;,(%table-columns;)?)?) | (%table-header-columns;,(%table-columns;)?)"> Therefore some default columns have to be created.
Created attachment 16616 [details] Excel XML without Column element
Added time estimation
Added a new choose condition in the import to always add columns (fixed the existend) and take advantage of the Excel attribute 'ss:ExpandedColumnCount'. By default a style exisits for the default columns. It is the table style or a default co1 named style, always written out by the import filter.
Postponed to OfficeLater until new priorities for all Excel XML filter tasks have been ascertain.
This fixed issue remains on OOo2.0
reopened for reassigning to qa
