Index update and index rename from the navigator window don't work

Reproducible:
-> Updating a read-only index via Navigator only works, if "Allow cursor in 
protected areas" is set in the dialogue Tools-Options-Text Document-Cursor.
-> Updating a writable index works (Remark: One can remove the "read only" flag 
via context as well).
-> Renaming an index does not work in either of the cases.
