It is only possible to edit one paragraph style at a time. By selecting the whole document, there are more than one style in the selection, thus a meaningful operation with the dialog cannot be performed. MRU->OS: "Edit paragraph style" should not be offered, when a selection contains more than one paragraph style.

I have conducted numerous follow up testing to analyze this problem. Testing was performed on OO 1.1.4 under Windows XP. The bug indeed exists whenever the given above document is selected entirely (attachment: shot1.btmp). I have tried to select various portions of document: single paragraph, several paragraphs, paragraphs that continue on the next page, several pages, etc (attachment: shot2.btmp). The dialog box for editing paragraph styles was successfully invoked. One can clearly see on provided attachments the difference in the pop up up menu. Moreover, I have created another text file (attachment: sample.sxw) and attempted to reproduce the bug using another version of the document. The bug was not reproduced. Once again I tested the given above file page by page. I was trying to find an object or text formatting that was not supported by Paragraph Editing. However, every page successfully invoked the dialog box individually. From my observation, the problem is in a large size of a document. Not only application runs slow and creates this defect, but I also ran into problems with scrolling. System freezes up on bottom-up scrolling when the left mouse button is held down. Especially noticeable if the procedure must be repeated several times in order to highlight the document. At some point system failed to perform highlighting of the text at all.
