Description pavel 2004-09-25 22:28:23 UTC
Hi,

I use blackbox window manager. When I run testtool, it opens its window almost
fullscreen, but the title bar (created by the window manager) is not visible,
because it is outside the virtual desktop.

I put the screenshot of the complete virtual desktop at

http://tmp.janik.cz/OpenOffice.org/testtool/snapshot001.png

pl: Is this also caused by this window using StaticGravity?

Has been already fixed for SRC680 testtool and won't be fixed in SRX645 tree.
Comment 2 jogi 2004-09-27 15:13:12 UTC
verified.

If you want to test a SRC680 TestTool, please use
$OpenOffice.orgPath/program/testtool.bin as application and the TestTool scripts
from CVS (module: qa/qatesttool).

jsi: this is what I'm using :-)

I use milestones of 680 - see

ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/

where do I publish my builds regularly. I do not have 645 on that system right
now and it still is displayed outside of desktop (with the old Star* title, really).

The issue I was talking about is #i29060#.
Comment 6 jogi 2004-09-28 07:00:30 UTC
I don't think that it is important to fix because GNOME & KDE do not have this
issue but I will give it to the developer. Sorry for my impoliteness.

Changing sub-category.
Comment 8 gregor.hartmann 2004-09-28 09:37:08 UTC
looking at issue 29060 as I understand it the problem was a wrong configuration
Entry.
The testtool also saves its position and restores it on startup.
When the testtool Window is resized or moved the config is updated.

It is the following entry in the .testtoolrc

[WinGeom]
WinParams=4,422,728,410;1;
