I've used to see a clock on the status bar. I haven't found a way to configure
the status bar to enable it (or configure it at all).

Sorry, but with OpenOffice.org 2.0 there will be no possibility to configure the
status bar. This feature will be reintroduced later. I changed the target to later

Yes, I please my clock  to the statusbar (or, to the topright of the menubar...)
