Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 369
product help documentation missing
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:34 UTC
I installed a network version of 614 on Linux 7.0 in /usr/openoffice. Then I installed the user specific portion in /home/TRAX/openoffice. While trying to use the program as TRAX if I click on the "help" button, I get the following error: Error loading document vnd.sun.star.help://swriter/start: Non-existent object. Nonexistent file. Have I forgotten some part of the setup, or has some part of the setup malfunctioned?
Hi Chris, no need to get nervous. This error message is correct. There are still no help-files in these OO-versions. So you have nothing forgotten and the setup has no malfunctions (installing helpfiles). I hope that the next version was equipped with help files.

Hi Ingo, do yo have any helpfiles?
No, I do not have help files. If and when we have help files for OpenOffice has to be decided elsewhere. Do you have an answer, Stefan?
Sorry, not yet.
I thought the status should be "Resolved later"? (see 646)
