Description maand 2004-12-02 19:30:43 UTC
In a Slide with a Title and two textboxes the text in the right textbox wasn't
displayed in the outline-view. Only the text of the left box is visible.

I was able to reproduce the problem on Windows XP using OOo 2.1. Creating a new
presentation with 2 text blocks from the Layout panel only displays the contents
of the left text block in the outline view. Swapping the orientation so that the
left box is on the right continues to show only the contents of the same
originally left text block in the outline view.

This problem was pointed out by the user in Japan. When is the target milestone
decided?

This issue has no easy fix. The outline view as it was implemented many many
years ago never had this feature in mind. The bad thing is that the outline view
is in a very bad shape, implementation wise. It is not possible to add any
feature without a prior rework of the whole outline view implementation. We are
talking about at least half a man year of work and that is for someone who
already has a lot of experience in the impress code. Since we do not have the
resources for that right now this is not scheduled for any release now.
