Description Unknown 2001-02-07 02:42:19 UTC
This is a duplicate of
http://projects.collab.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2433

I'm posting here so i can track it

**********************************************************************

We have people on the OOo lists who regularly complain about their messages not
going though. This has always been becase of moderation; they are not
subscribed, or are trying to post from a different email address then they're
sub'd from.

I'd like for our mail system to send automatic email to users who're being
moderated, telling them what's going on, and informing them of the address to
subscribe if they'd like to avoid any wait. I will write that mail; i need you
to make the functionality happen.

This would cut down greatly on confustion/frustration that is currently
directed at CollabNet.

It would be great if the email would inform them of the email address that is
getting moderated; sometimes users don't even know what email they're using, or
their MTA does odd things to their email address. This is a nice to have,
though, not a need to have.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for
details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
