Description issues@www 2001-02-12 03:32:11 UTC
No idea if this is against the UI guidelines, but a common practice with
floating pallettes is to:

1) Allow them outside of the bounds of their owner window
2) Hide them when the applications is not in the foreground.

I would very much prefer this interface for the navigator and styles pallettes.

It would also be nice if they could be docked with parent windows.

I would really like to see this feature because it is very annoying
that you even have to make the working window larger or
minimize/maximize the styles subwindow all the time.

In fact would be neat and is a feature I am missing...
Maybe this goes hand-in-hand with solution of Issue 12719 ("Support
for multiscreen displays")?
