Description issues@www 2001-02-14 09:21:34 UTC
"The Installation program cannot find the script file in which all of the
instructions required for installation have been saved.

The file was looked for in the following directory.

S:\<PATH>\solver\614\wntmsci3.pro\bin\setup....

The installation program cannot be executed without this file, it will now be
terminated."

If I copy the setup_osl.inf file as setup.inf, I don't get the above error
message, but hundreds of other "key/file/etc missing" messages.

It looks like it is looking for setup.inf, but there isn't one in the file I
downloaded:

solver614_win32intel.zip

Some setup notes would also be handy if you need to do something more
sophisticated than run setup.exe for the compiled windows version.

Cheers,

Chris

It looks like this belongs to you.

You are trying to install, right?
From your description it seems you are in the wrong directory.
You should have the installation tarball

install614_win32intel.tar.gz (or .zip)

from the website www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/get_binaries.html
('binaries' link from the download website). setup.exe is in there, also
setup.inf.

The solver directory is not needed for installation.

If this is not your problem, please give me more details.
In any case, let me know how you're getting on.

cheers

no more feedback, so I assume the issue is solved.
