Description joerg.barfurth 2001-02-23 12:05:30 UTC
From a mail by Dietrich Schulten<ibo@system-entwicklung.de> in
dev@dba.openoffice.org:

"I've tried to create a new [...] data source under 619. In both
cases I could view the tables nicely in the datasource dialog but the
datasources disappear after I close the dialog with OK, no matter if I
clicked Apply before."

This obviously is a defect.

This really is a problem with the configuration management.

All 'set' operations seem to be broken. This might affect further operations,
possibly outside of dba.

The fix is committed (but not yet verified) for src623. If a fix is needed
within OO619,it should be possible to use the newest revision (1.4) of
configmgr/source/api2/updateimpl.cxx.

Note: Herr Schulten also reports that creating new database queries doesn't
work. It seems as though that is the same problem - and so is fixed as well.
