Description issues@www 2001-03-01 10:16:31 UTC
Exporting to eps doesn't work properly. Some images are filled out with black,
e.g the "symbols/network.wmf" in the StarOffice 5.2 gallery. Small text in
drawings doesn't look well - various characters have different boldness. Some
special national characters are totally trashed, a Danish "æ" comes out much
narrower than it should. Interestingly enough, the drawing prints perfectly from
OpenOffice to a PS printer!

The mentioned bugs are reproducible (Sven, a bugdoc is available).
In addition: would be nice, if we will be able to take more fonts in account.

Comment 5 sven.jacobi 2001-03-28 09:14:48 UTC
An export option will be added that allows to export non standard fonts as
transparent bitmap.
Comment 6 sven.jacobi 2001-05-11 14:28:43 UTC
The bug was fixed in goodies/source/filter.vcl/eps/
and is available up from version 632.

Then it will possible to export text using glyph outlines,
that will solve all problems that depends to special
characters and non standard fonts.

The problem when exporting "symbols/network.wmf" is
also fixed.
