Description issues@www 2001-03-02 03:56:17 UTC
Don't know if this a bug, enhancement or task!? - My StarOffice 5.2 StarWriter
5.0 docs look much different from what they do in StarOffice 5.2; though the
format is called identically: StarWriter 5.0.
Would be a bad surprise if I had to re-do everything with Office 6.0 - would be
like in the bad old days, when Billy forced me to do the same once a year
(*yes*, I *did* start with Word 4.0 for DOS - and StarOffice has left the format
pretty much untouched).

What exactly do you consider "different"? - Not the date, I think... Please give
an example (document?).

Reassigned to Michael Ruess.

This occurs because Writer doesn´t know about any printer information. To
provide something like WYSIWYG, the document is formatted with the printer
information. At the moment (OO 619) there a problems with printing under Linux,
so that a printer is not installable in OO. That causes the disordered view of
the document. For further information on printing in OO please refer to
printing.openoffice.org and the newsgroups listed there.

With a working xprinting the document looks much better in OpenOffice.
Xprinting is available since OpenOffice 632.
