Description crespin_yves 2005-09-07 14:11:17 UTC
The paragraphs of the first page have a border.
The text on the second page overwrite some part of the first page.
Here is a document with the problem.

There are 3 problems which are responsible for this.

1. The Font "Lucida Casual" which is not available on my system is replaced in
the view by a different than in MS Word. Thus the empty paragraphs are smaller.
I have submitted issue 57177 for this.

2. The frames have autosize width in Word, but do not adapt there width to the
content in Word and have their size across whole page width. Thus, some empty
paragraphs are next to the frames in Writer instead of below.
MRU->OD: pls investigate this.

3. The "keep" attribute in paragraphs inside tables works differently than in
Word. Thus the whole table and its Heading paragraph move fully onto page two in
MS Word which is not the case in Writer. We already have an internal task
regarding this.

MRU->OD: please only concentrate on the 2nd point of my comments, the auto-sized
frame problem.
