Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 55511
table merge cells misaligns unrelated columns in certain zoom levels
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Create a table with 12 columns, 4 rows, 3 of which are header rows. Merge the upper left 3x3 cells into one. The right border of the merged cells no longer lines up with the border beneath it. Also the border between columns 9 and 10 is misaligned! The misalignments get worse when more cells get merged.
I cannot reproduce the problem. I created a 12x4 table as described (with 3 heading rows), but when merging the upper left 3x3 cells, the borders aligned properly. Tested with builds m109, m124 and m130. Could you please attach a document which will producve the error when merging the mentioned cells? Feel free to reopen when you have done so.
I'm attaching an example. There's some more wierdness...it depends on the zoom factor. At 75% it's too small to see. At 100%, 125% the borders between 9 & 8 and between 3&2 don't line up. At 150% & 200% it lines up properly. This is happening in RC1 on SuSE linux.

MRU->FME: some of the tables border lines do not align correctly in certain zoom levels. When changing e.g. to 150% or 200% zoom different vertical border lines do not look correctly.

I have attached another testcase, created with OOo 2.0.4 RC3. See columns 6 & 7. Also, when exporting to PDF or printing the columns bordes are still mismatched.
