Proposal for new ruler look

This is my idea how ruler could look like in the future. If you like it, Not all ruler gadget are not present in the picture is attach, but the idea is important

What on earth did I write there in my first comment?? Some almost- english I guess... Anyway, I was meant to say that I did not (lazyness?) draw all gadgets needed in the ruler. And if you like my idea, I can try to make more comprehensive design with different kind of situations. Just tell me in which kind of situations.
to me it seems that this is an writer issue .... changing component and QA contact

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
