MS Office XP has document signing capabilities. This feature will be
needed.

Since StarOffice 5.2 and earlier didn't support digital signatures, it
only needs to be specified and implemented for the OpenOffice's XML
file format - there's no need for backwards compatibility.

The file format specification and feature implementation should be
developed along the guidelines of W3C's XML signature Recommendation
located at http://www.w3.org/TR/xmldsig-core .

Has been fixed and should be available in the latest OOo build. The
reason was a dublicate draw:name attribute. Removing one of them makes
the document loadable again.
