Description scarr 2002-07-02 20:22:01 UTC
If you have multiple frames on a page. There is no way to select multiple
frames to move to a different location at the same time.

You should be able to hold Shift and select multiple frames like you can with
other objects.

changing component and QA contact (this is a writer issue), and
changing the type to "enhancement". Slightly adjusting the title to
reflect this (adding "[RFE]").

BTW: I strongly support this RFE :)

Multiple selection of frames is not only important for re-positioning
but also for copying multiple frames to different locations or other
applications, e. g. Draw.

I too have had this problem. I have to deal with some documents that have a
large amount of frame on them and it feels _very_ unnatural (not to mention
slow) to not be able to select multiple frames the same as I select multiple
form controls.
Comment 7 titschme 2009-05-06 16:42:59 UTC
I strongly support this to implement.

Using frames to arrange a document is perfect. However, not to be able to select
and move multiple frames at one time is tedious.

Please work on this to be better than MS Word!

Our users think it is strange or at least inconsistent that "Select all" selects
everything in Impress but not in Writer.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
