Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 65283
Export to html or image files should use a fixed number of digits
Last modified: 2014-04-25 12:25:23 UTC
The image files created by File > Export to html are named img1, img2, ... img10, img11 ... Instead, they should be named img001, img002, ... img010, img011 ... (or even better: 'image001', or 'slide001', etc) This makes the image file names sort cleanly into the proper slide order. This is very important, e.g., for burning onto a CD for display by a DVD player: the player sorts the image files by filename and thus shows the slides out of order. PPT (2k) gets it right; OOo gives an unusable CD and a lot of work renaming files to fix it, assuming the user can even figure out what the problem is. Export to images (enhancement issue 63687) should work the same way.
Reassigned.
@wg is there a reason, why this issue stay unconfirmed?
