Start Presentation. 
Change background into something colorful. 
Save as StarImpress 5.0 (.Vor) 
Close the file, and open the saved file. 

Result: The background was not saved.

changed target, who uses staroffice 5 templates anyhow?

"Office Later" is unacceptable since it's a regression-bug. 
I set it to 2.x since it needs to be evaluated.
