The functionality to list all site users for issue assignement in "Lookup Users"
worries me. The number of assignable users is quite large for OOo and it takes
some time to generate this list or a filtered subset.
What are the consequences for the site performance?
Is there a reason that this doesn't work for netbeans?

Stefan, The List is paginated; however it will take some time to fetch this. 
Not sure of the performance implication; will check. Do you want this option 
to be disabled if possible?

It's not my intention to disable the functionality if possible but if
neccessary. That's your call.
Again, why doesn't it work for netbeans?

NB has a different issue that CN is in the process of resolving. I don't see 
any issues as such on the stage.openoffice.org box.

Based on the feedback of the CN internal team, we have decided to remove this 
feature ("lookup users" link) from the IZ page. There is a performance concern 
with this feature enabled on sites having large number of users.
