Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6892
Printing Problem in OO Writer 1.1
Last modified: 2003-03-06 11:50:46 UTC
I just found the cause but not the reason for the cause of my printer problems: my document's page setup properties were mysteriously changed to landscape when it was a portrait document. Also page size was changed from letter to custom size. Document started out as a Star Office document; maybe something got lost in the translation.
pl->pl: JobSetup stream operators ?
Could you provide a sample document that shows this error ?
Created attachment 4418 [details] .sxw file that page one fails to be printed
pl->ssa: The jobsetup contained in the document is from Windows, and i think this may be connected to the page size bug you and cd discussed.
looking into it...
To reproduce the problem I need to know what printer model, driver version, and operating system you are using. We recently fixed something in this area but switching between landscape and portrait was not encountered yet.
Richard, Could you please provide me with the required data ? Otherwise I cannot reproduce your problem.
ssa->cd: please check with your recent changes.
CD: Ok, I will check this bug with my changes.
Hi Richard, Could you please tell me, when did you notice that the page format changed to landscape, after or before printing it? I am not able to reproduce your problem with my latest changes. I fixed a problem with user defined page formats that have a contradictory landscape/portrait orientation, like (21,59x27,94mm) page size and landscape orientation.
target adjusted
CD->HI: Please check if you are able to reproduce this problem. I was not able to contact the bug reporter and could not reproduce it.
I printed the bugdoc with several printers and it works as expected. In cause of Richard doesn't response, I close this issue as "worksforme"
