Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 69828
Impress remove bullets or numbering
Last modified: 2014-02-25 19:01:07 UTC
There is no way to remove bullets and numbering from text in Impress. The Writer bullets and numbering dialog box has a remove button which is not present in the Impress dialog box. The help documentation references a remove functionaly, which is also present in Writer. The titles of these documents are: "Turning off Bullets and Numbering for Individual Paragraphs" "Bullets and Numbering" (Sorry im not sure if this should be a seperate bug, but can't see a documentation/help subcomponent so was unsure where to file it anyway)
Ignore last two paragraphs about help documentation and see issue: 69829 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=69829
Reassigned.
There is a button to 'remove' the bullets in the Text Formating toolbar. it is right beside the Alignment buttons. In the Tooltip you can read Bullets On/Off.
Please tell me if this button is what you are looking for or if there is still a bug.
Yes sorry, this was embarassing, that is the button I am looking for. It looks the same as the Bullets and Numbering settings button which I was finding first. Another contributor to the orignal confusion was the inconsistancies between Writer and Impress (As at 2.0.3; Namely the lack of the remove button in the Bullets/Numbering dialogue box).
In my mind the difference of the Bullets/Numbering dialogue box in Impress and Writer is an enhancement and not a defect.
I think this report can be fixed.
