Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 69901
Hyperlinks within plain text appear inactive when center- or right-aligned
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:11:37 UTC
Hyperlinks enclosed in plain text become inactive when the cell contents are center- or right-aligned. Steps to reproduce: 1. File > New > Spreadsheet 2. Enter this text in any cell: Visit www.openoffice.org today On typing the space after "www.openoffice.org" the site name should be automatically recognized and converted into a hyperlink. 3. Test the hyperlink: the mouse cursor should change shape when hovering over the link . 4. Select the cell with the text/link and change the horizontal alignment to "center". 5. Test the hyperlink again--it is no longer active. See attached Calc document for an example.
Created attachment 39384 [details] Sample Calc document showing the problem
Confirming.
Please can you replicate the issue with Openoffice.org version 2.1 Thanks.
With the attached document I found this: As decribed the shape of the mouse cursor doesn't change, but the link can be activated by double click. I tried this in a new document by entering another text with a link. Behaviour is o.k. Copying the text/link from the attached document the behaviour is buggy as described. OOo 2.1
Sorry! After trying it again I can confirm the bug with the new document. Shape of mouse cursor doesn't change, when 'center' or 'right'. Activating with double click is possible.
Confirming jolatt's report using 2.1.0 [680m6(9095), from Oo.org] on Fedora 5. The double-click activation seems to be related to putting the cell into edit mode. If I highlight the cell and hit F2, then the link behaves normally: the mouse cursor changes to the pointing finger and the link activates with a single click, no matter what the cell alignment is.
Confirming (2.1 OS X). Changing summary ("are inactive" -> "appear inactive").
Hi Niklas, one for you? Frank
change target from 2.x to 3.x according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
Seems to be the same problem like in Issue 71814.
I agree: same as Issue 71814.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
