Description fredrik.haegg 2007-02-08 17:20:15 UTC
1. Install a OOF_m6 English + German.
2. Add the languagepack for Italian.

First, the mediaplayer: the time is first shown normally, but when pressing play,
the view changes from 00:00:00 to 00.00.00 and continues with dots while the
file is played.

Second, the language-string for English, is in the Office "Inglese (USA)",
but testtool reports it as "Inglese (US)".

The developer for the mediaplayer (KA) has for a longer time not changed the code
for the player. And the error only occurs with the Italian languagepack.
Therefore I'm only writing one bug for this.
And who's responsible for these things, I don't know, but I have to write a bug
about it,
so... here ya go.

Vladimir, can you please have a look at both problems listed below. Especially
the media player problem might not be related to L10N, but it at least seems
strange that the player should work fine with an English version but should fail
once the Italian language pack is installed.

For the mediaplayer-thing: I've just installed a PP1 (English, German Italian),
patched it with a OOF m7 (also Italian),
and when checking, then it's "00:00:00" in both English and German, but
"00.00.00" with Italian.
And it isn't "00.00.00" from the beginning, but from that that the sound starts
to play.

I don't know if it's the Italian string for "number-separator for clocks", the
mediaplayer which
only makes something strange with the separator when the language is Italian,
but I do know that something changes, and it does it only when the language is
Italian.
Comment 7 fredrik.haegg 2007-02-14 17:02:05 UTC
The "Inglese (US)"-part was my own fault. Therefore I change the Summary.
