In edit points mode, it is possible to select and move multiple points together
(except see Issue 77148). It is often necessary to accurately move the points in
either the x or y direction, but not both.

For normal editing mode, or with a single point in edit points mode, this can be
easily done by holding the Shift key while moving an object. However, the Shift
key has no effect when multiple points are selected.

It would be helpful if the same x,y constraints were available when moving
multiple points.
