Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 77779
Custom slide shows dialog: use custom slide show problem
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:06 UTC
Steps to replicate: 1) Created a new impress. 2) Open custom slide shows dialog. Add new custom slide show and check "use custom slide show". Close dialog by closer (The right-top "X" of the dialog). 3) OK. Now open slide show settings dialog, you can see the range is "All slides" selected. Maybe Bugs?
Set to new and change the target.
This dialog has no 'cancel' button therefore the behavior of the close should be the same like clicking on the close button. Please have a look.
I want to know whether "Close" button is changed to "Cancle" button. Or "Close" button is changed to "OK" button and add one new "Cancle" button. Or others?
I change this task to a requirement for the following reasons: 1. When the "Close" button is renamed to "OK" or to "Cancel" then we the other one ("Cancel" or "OK" respectively) is missing. The only good change would be to add a new button and change the "Close" button. 2. An "OK" and a "Cancel" button are only necessery for the "Use Custom Slide Show" check box. For the rest of the dialog the "Close" button is sufficient. 3. The closer of the dialog behaves like a "Cacel" button. The "Close" button behaves like "OK". Therefore the dialog is usable as it is.
set target to 3.x according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
I suggest to enhance the 'Custom Slide Shows' dialog with a 'Cancel' button and to change the close button to 'OK', as this dialog is a modal dialog. A 'Close' button is used in non-modal dialogs.
