Description shinobu_maehara 2007-06-07 08:06:25 UTC
The issue tracker is unusable at large font sizes and small window sizes.
Issue comments extend beyond the right edge of the browser's display area, and
are too wide to fit, making it impossible to read issue comments without
scrolling back and forth using the horizontal scrollbar.
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld 2007-08-10 06:54:37 UTC
@shinobu_maehara:
You suggest some automatic word wrapping?
What Browser do you use?
Comment 2 stefan.baltzer 2007-09-28 13:45:40 UTC
SBA: No answer, no valid issue. Set to Worksforme.
Comment 3 shinobu_maehara 2008-07-25 18:04:35 UTC
@Rainer Bielefeld:
That would be a start. And having the fonts not so huge compared to other
websites would probably help too. I'm getting 2 cm high letters over here and
a horizontal scrollbar that covers about 1/3 to 1/2 of the page width,
depending on the browser. The problem is worst in IE, but also extant in
Safari and Firefox. I haven't tested in Konqueror, but it generally renders
like Safari so I'd guess that's affected too.
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld 2008-07-26 06:48:46 UTC
Why should someone use 20mm characters? Are we talking about usability for
disabled persons?

>Why should someone use 20mm characters?
I don't know, I didn't design this bugtracker. It happens nowhere else.

Worksforme.

Can't understand what the reporter says and what the reporter would like to solve.

>Can't understand
I don't understand what you can't understand. Is my description unclear in any
way? If so, in what way? Do you have any questions? Do you think the way it
displays, as shown in the screenshots I posted, is acceptable?
(Reopening issue because "I don't understand it" doesn't seem like a valid
reason for closing an issue.)
