First, I´m sorry about my bad english...
I am a user of BROffice, and some applications of Office as Visio and Project.
Working as a consultant to cooperatives and associations of solidary economy and
agroecologia, mainly in the southern region of Brazil.

I am writing to ask one thing, and perhaps request a kindness
For some years we have a clear demand for organizing networks of initiatives,
small farmers and small retail stores and consumers in cities, closing short
circuits marketing and reducing or even eliminating atravessadores markets,
especially markets for food, which produces a significant reduction in prices to
the consumer, and a very significant improvement in compensation to family farmers.

We have a major challenge which is to make clear how to organize a production
chain for farmers and for people who work in cooperatives and associations in
cities, towns of any size. They are ordinary people, who do not dominate
software or computers, but they need to understand the functioning of the system
in which they work to have autonomy of decision in these systems.
Demand clear that we were able to identify those already 10 years working in the
area, is to show the designs of production chains for these people, farmers and
comercializadores in cooperatives, associations and microenterprises. However,
each production chain is connected to other, which in turn is connected to
other, forming local production regions, which form global production systems.
Our expectation is to make more accessible the possibility of drawing as a flow
diagram, or a flowchart, the production chains. This can be done using the
arrows and diagrams of patterns of Visio, or any type of presentation of
MindManager. However, to do this we must do in the arm, mount each production
chain one by one and entering and diagramar, to be available for viewing.
So dream of the possibility that there is an application in Calc or the Base,
where from a table of data in a database, and data from this table, indicate the
flows of capital, raw material, products, services, knowledge; beyond the names
and the location of people, offices, functions, bodies, suppliers, customers, etc..
In other words, what we need is an application that hill a diagram of flows from
data input and output available in a table, using boxes, arrows and other
graphic elements of a library. Imagine this for years, but unfortunately not
write, and my field of software is limited to user settings. So never came to
develop.

I am sure that the usefulness of this application for common users can be as
important as a tool for graphics in Calc, for example.

I would like to know your opinion on the subject, as well as indications of
possible programs that do this, or you think you may come to be developed and
included as an add-on in BROffice or to be part of some new version. If you come
to be developed, I would like to take note and perhaps give some level of user
opinion on the development of the tool.
