Step:
1)Create a impress(>15 page)
2)Switch slide sorter,View->slide pane. Select a slide in slide 
pane,change "slide per row" to "15 slide" in slide view bar.
Look at the slide pane. We will find that there only one slide show there. 
When we click any slide in editing area, at the same time,look at the slide 
pane, the slides change into a vertical row.
I don't know why the slide view bar can control the slide in slide pane? 
Please have a look.

Set to new and change the target.

I can reproduce the bug in src680m247.
It should not be possible to change the slides per row in the slides pane.

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
