Step to Reproduce
A:
1)Start a impress
2)View->Slide Sorter, View->Slide pane
B:
  1)Start a impress.
  2)View->handout Page, View->Slide sorter, View->Slide pane

You can find that it is different in the slide pane. 
A. It is the slide. 
B. It is the master.

Reproducible. Reassigned.
The result visible in the slide pane differs upon which way you take, A or B.
