Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 92399
Rasterized export distorted when page height too large
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:40:43 UTC
There seems to be a limit of 2048 pixels in height for rasterization, which results in distortion. To reproduce, create a large square page and export to a raster format. On my system e.g., 60cm x 60cm becomes 2268 x 2048 pixels. Horizontal resolution is 96 dpi, vertical resolution varies with height.
I confirm the error for the current implementation. I use OOoDEV300m24 on WinXP. Enhancement for graphic export is ongoing. Please have a look at issue 4499. There you will find the link http://lippka.com/EnhancedGraphicExportDialogs.oxt for an extension, which is still in development. But it works already so good, that you can use it for png, gif and jpg export and it will solve your export problem. I think, that this defect should not be solved detached, but together with the ongoing efforts in issue 4499.
Sorry, not reproducible. I setup a rectangle, 65 cm x 65 cm. I export it to bmp. Result is 2382 x 2382 pixels, 96 x 96 dpi.
Do not export a selection but define a page in that size and export the whole page. Then you get the wrong height.
Thanks for the comment, Regina. Now I have it, too. Reproducible in version DEV300_m29. Reassigning.
