When loaded either locally or over a network drive, large documents (60 pages +) with embedded 
images load, scroll, and perform extremely slowly, to the point of making OpenOffice unusable.  The 
document freezes for anywhere between 5-45 seconds when scrolling between pages, and slows down 
to a crawl when simply scrolling incrementally.  This affects Macs primarily (I'm using a quad core Mac 
Pro), but I have also found this to be an issue on Windows machines, especially when compared to the 
same document being opened in MS Word (Mac and Windows).
