I can't open an Excel document.
The error message is :
Error when loading the document "my document.XLS"
Reading error
File protected by a password
This three lines above are a translation. I have a french OpenOffice version.

This excel document have been recorded in two way :
  - first with a protection by password
  - second without any protection by password.
In the two ways I can't open this file.

Fortunatly I can open all others Excel files (never be protected by password).

Is OpenOffice really not able to open Excel file protected by password ?

Please take a look if this document contains workbook protection
(Tools|Protection|Workbook). With this setting Excel encrypts the file
without a user password. OpenOffice.org cannot read this encrypted file.
