The attached presentation, when saved as Powerpoint
Item 7 appears with a bullet in Powerpoint: It is not 
present in the OpenOffice version

The reason, why a bullet gets visible in that doc after ppt-export in Power 
Point seems to be a linespacing problem. The bullets in each paragraph in the 
textobject are already existing in open office too. You see them, if you move 
the object with the red text and also two black rectangles aside. After the 
export in Power Point the last bullet gets visible, because the textobject 
hangs further down as in open office.

I agree. This is another manifestation of issue 143,
not originally detected as that because the black rectangle was overlooked.

I think this bug is double to 143. Until 143 is fixed and I get sureness, this 
Issue will maintain.

The fix for this problem is available up from version 636.

The bug is fixed in the meantime.
change the resolution to fixed.
I tested the fix in OOo1.1.
