Create a new spreadsheet

in a cell enter 1/1/1 and Enter

Openoffice then displays this INCORRECTLY as 01/02/01

Highlighting the cell shows in the cell contents line at the top 01/02/2001
and using format cell to display   D MMM YYYY shows 31 Jan 2001 which is 
correct.

Additional tests show that 

entering 1/1/1 gives a date of 1 Feb 2001
         1/2/1 ... gives 1 Feb 2001
         1/3/1 ... gives 1 Mar 2001
         1/11/1 ... gives 1 Oct 2001
         1/12/1 ... gives 1 Nov 2001
         1/13/1 ... appears to be invalide (gives 1 2001)
