Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 374
Dialog box for format date does not display month choices
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:34 UTC
(See issues 373) If you enter a date, eg 1/1/1 for 1st Jan 2001, highlight the cell, right click, and then "format cell" Under the Numbers Tab in Cell Attributes, for example, the second format choice is displayed as "31 1999". Clicking on it shows the code DD MMMM YYYY. In otherwords the Format choice list is not indicating that the month is present. This is true for all other similar textual months. eg "31 99" for D MMM YY, and "31 1999" for D MMM YYYY and 31..1999 for DD.MMM.YYYY ... and so on. Almost as if it's trying to be internationalised to display "month" for "monat" but the localisation is not correct. Language of the user interface is set to the default - English(US)
