It is not possible to open some Excel spreadsheets that can be opened by Excel 
97. It appears to be something to do with password protection. An example 
spreadsheet can be downloaded from the following URL.

Hi Chris,

we can't use the Excel Encryption as we don't know it. Also MS won't
tell us the code.

This is a double to I402
