Description norbert2 2006-08-15 08:41:42 UTC
Hi!

Please ...

- open a blank Draw document

- draw any shape

- cut this shape into the clipboard

- double-click on the "Layout"-layer's tab and set the layer "Locked", press OK

- Note that the buttons of the "Drawing"-toolbar have disabled as expected,
because editing the layer should be impossible now.

- press CTRL + v

The object has been pasted although the layer is "Locked". Pasting to locked
layers should not be possible.

Found on StarOffice 8 Product Update 3 rev. 2 under OpenSUSE Linux 10.1.

There is a similar bug with locked spreadsheets (pasting disabled in GUI but
CTRL + v works), so this could be a framework bug:

Reproducible. Reassigned.
Comment 3 groucho266 2006-08-15 09:17:24 UTC
Accepted.
Comment 4 zirneklitis 2010-02-25 20:47:10 UTC
This wrong behavior is reproducible in OOo.Draw 3.2.0
Comment 5 zirneklitis 2010-02-26 03:17:16 UTC
The situation is even worse. It is possible to paste objects via clipboard even
in locked + invisible layer. This issue should be marked with priority 2.

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
