I did send an e-mail with a copy of the document attached to issues@sc.openoffice.org subject : Issue 21905
Hi, what's about using Find an Issue with Spreadsheet as component and password as key for the summary field ? This will lead you to Issue 402. Also if you want to attach a document to an Issue, just use the Link Create a new attachment right under the Keywords field of the Issue. Otherwise the document get lost and tracking is nearly impossible. Frank *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 402 ***

Hello, I wonder if you did try to open the attached I did send, because there is NO password. This has been confirmed by several people who can open the document with microsoft exell without any request to input a password . MORE these people did "save as" the document on their PC Microsoft Exell without any password , they did send the document back to me and I still cannot open it... any comment appreciated
Hi, have you had a look at all the Issues mentioned in Issue 402 ? I don't think so. Also there is the attachment ? With luck I found it, The Sheet and the workbook are protected with passwords. This encodes the whole file and this can't be changed by OOo. Have a look at the Issues mentioned in 402 for more informations. Frank *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 402 ***
If you protect your workbook in Excel with a password, Excel encrypts the file. But it does not use your password for this, but a fixed built-in password. Therefore excel can load the file without asking for a PW, but simply using the built-in PW. Nevertheless the file *is* encrypted, and Calc cannot load it. See also issue 5362.
